Essential reading for retailers and suppliers in the home improvement market

Obituary: David Williams

Published: 18 April 2019 - Kiran Grewal

David joined Crown Paints at the age of 19, later becoming a regional sales manager. In 1998 David joined Bromborough Paints as its Trade sales manager. At that time Bromborough Paints had three wholesale depots with just one trade outlet at Padiham. Over the next 20 years David was intregal in the acquisition of further businesses including Kendal Paints. Eleven more branches were opened on new sites bringing the total number of outlets to 17 from Shrewsbury to Carlisle. David could be constructively combative in negotiating with suppliers  to the benefit of Bromborough Paints and after 50 years in the paint industry will be sadly missed by both staff and management at Bromborough Paints.
