Wrapit, the UK's largest dedicated gift list provider has denied that the company has entered administration.

However, the company has confirmed that it is experiencing "some financial difficulties and are working to find a solution quickly".

The company, which handles thousands of couples' lists every year, believes there is a "realistic chance" that it will be able to fulfil all wedding list orders already placed with the company, but is now only opening its showrooms by appointment only.

It is also inviting all couples that have confirmed they have goods awaiting delivery to collect them from the firm's warehouse in Acton, London. Any guest who has placed an order using a credit card, Amex or Visa debit card is also being offered a full refund.

Wrapit customers should remember that so long as items between 100 and 30,000 were purchased with a credit card, they should be entitled to a full refund if the goods are not received when they were promised and they should call their credit card company to arrange this. For the couples with the wedding list, this means that the money will be refunded to their guests - so they will need to find an alternative wedding list service and ask their guests to shop again.

Use a credit card for purchasing any item between 100 and 30,000
