Webbs staff are celebrating after being crowned Britain's best garden centre.
The family-owned Worcestershire firm scooped the top prize of Garden Centre of the Year just months after a major £5m expansion programme.
The title was announced after rigorous inspections by judges from The Garden Centre Association.
Webbs had already been named as Best Garden Centre in the Midlands and Garden Centre of Excellence, but had to wait weeks for the final announcement.
Webbs beat around 160 other garden retailers to establish its position as the top garden centre in the country. Webbs also came out top for best use of signage and point of sale material.
Chief executive Boyd Douglas-Davies says the success is the reward for a massive team effort.
"It is brilliant news for all the staff here," he said. "I'm so proud of them. It really is phenomenonal - we did hugely well in the first round of judging during the redevelopment and then again when we had just settled in. It's all down to hard work by a committed team."
He also attributed the success to a strong product range and excellent customer service. New and improved areas in the recent redevelopment include a permanent indoor 4m high water fountain show, an aquatic department, food hall, and a restyled 400-seat restaurant.
