Traeger sees UK sales soar in 2020

Published: 27 July 2020 - Neil Mead

More time at home and warm early summer months have been the perfect recipe for a huge boost in Traeger sales in 2020 - with sales of their 100 per cent natural hardwood fuel grills rising by over 350 per cent.

Traeger - the grilling experts, who have been revolutionising BBQ grilling and outdoor cooking for over 30 years - are attracting a growing number of British fans who have discovered how infusing their cooking with such flavourful smoke makes food taste absolutely delicious.

As the inventor of the world's top selling wood-fired grill, Traeger Grills use hardwood-fired grilling to provide the utmost versatility to outdoor cooking, from BBQ, grilling and smoking, to baking, roasting and braising – creating BBQ meals to perfection every time.

Traeger’s patented WiFIRE technology means select grills can be controlled via the smart phone app that maintains precise temperatures, while new D2 Direct Drive technology means grills get hotter, faster, delivering superior smoke production and best ever wood-fired flavour.

The range, including Timberline, Ironwood, Pro and Ranger models, offers something suitable for every garden, courtyard and balcony across the country.

Jo McDonald, country manager for Traeger Grills in the UK, commented: “The Traeger team has worked really hard to build the brand in the UK for the last few years with a distributor partner. I’m really excited to have joined the team this year and set up a permanent presence for the brand in the UK, working directly with our retailers. The brand is going from strength to strength and we can’t wait to continue to build the Traeger brand story for a UK audience across the rest of 2020 and beyond.”
