Topps Tiles expands into Northern Ireland

Tile and wood flooring retailer opens store in Newtownabbey, Belfast.
The Newtownabbey store, which opened on September 14, is part of an on-going store expansion, and boasts Topp's full offer, including wall and floor tiles in ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, glass and mosaic, as well as wetroom and under floor heating solutions, and tiling tools and accessories.

It also features an in-store 'Inspiration Station', where customers can test out the latest trends and style combinations, supported by 'how-to' DVDs. Customers can also book a free 30 minute in-store consultation with a Topps Tiles expert tfor advice on the project they are undertaking.

Four Topps Tiles experts joined the new store, including store manager Chic Taylor, assistant store manager Scott Currie and customer store assistants Richard McCracken and Andrea Crooks.

Kevin Nicol, area business manager at Topps Tiles Belfast, said: "We're thrilled to be opening our first store in Northern Ireland. This marks a huge milestone for Topps Tiles and we're delighted to be able to bring our expertise and exciting product range to DIY enthusiasts in Belfast.

The retailer is also encouraging trade professionals to sign up for exclusive Topps Tiles trade membership, where they will be offered trade discounts and deals in any of Topps' 320 stores, online or when ordering over the phone.

Mr Nicol added: "We have huge amounts of experience and look forward to providing advice and inspiration to our new customers and building relationships with people across Belfast through dedicated Topps Tiles trade accounts."

Since opening its first store in Manchester in 1963 the Topps Tiles group has grown to incorporate 1,500 specialist experts and over 320 stores nationwide, with more openings in the pipeline.
