TIMco appoints new operations director

Independent wholesale supplier of screws, fixings and power tools accessories TIMco has appointed Paul Shore as its operations director.

In the board level position, Mr Shore will take responsibility for improving and further developing the company's people, processes and technology so that it is well placed to deliver its continued growth and serve its growing customer base.

Mr Shore joins TIMco with more than 20 years experience of working in the logistics and distribution sector. Prior to joining TIMco, Mr Shore was a director at Ralawise where he was responsible for the strategic planning and development of both the operational and IT solutions for multi million pound business.

TIMco says the appointment reflects its "desire to further improve business efficiencies with regard to processes, accuracy and throughputs as well as develop an infrastructure that's future proof and capable of handling the company's growing product range."

Mr Shore will also be overseeing the company's increased warehousing, health and safety as well as its IT infrastructure and continuity of systems.

TIMco managing director Simon Midwood said: "We're determined to continue to build on our close working relationships with our customers by meeting their needs with regard to product ranges, promotion and fulfilment. Paul brings a proven track record in delivering effective operational and IT solutions that help facilitate such plans and the sustainable business growth we are looking to to deliver."
