Rainer Schubert has been promoted to sales director for the Scotts Miracle-Gro Consumer UK Business Group.
Mr Schubert succeeds Jeff Kwiatkowski, who has been appointed vice president of sales for the Lowe's account in Scotts' US business. Mr Schubert has worked for Scotts for three and a half years, most recently in a senior national acocunts role. He came to Scotts after working for ICI Paints (now Akzo Nobel) for 11 years.

Mr Schubert's knowledge of the DIY and gardening industry cover all channels, and he has also worked in sales, consumer marketing and category management.
