Essential reading for retailers and suppliers in the home improvement market

Promotion at Yale

Published: 9 April 2010
Security specialist ASSA ABLOY has appointed Nigel Fisher to the role of head of trade and retail sales for Yale, with responsibility for supporting merchant and retail customers.
Promotion at Yale
Mr Fisher has worked with Yale for five years in the roles of channel manager and commercial manager, and was previously employed at Newell Rubbermaid.

He said: "This year, it's all about the brand. Our customers have contended with a difficult economic climate, and many have resisted the temptation to downgrade to budget or lesser-known lines. In 2010 it's going to be even more important to stock well-known brands."

He says the company will help customers with continual promotional activity, as well as promoting standards and security ratings through the customers and installer channels, "driving business in store and creating demand for higher value products."
