Paul Maxwell rejoins Toolbank as national accounts manager
Mr Maxwell originally joined Toolbank 30 years ago, working in CA Clemson's warehouse at West Bromwich. He followed this with two years in the sales office, then 12 years on the road as a sales representative before joining what was than Sandvik Saws & Tools. At Sandvik, later Bahco, he rose to area sales manager, then national sales manager - but always with responsibility for the Toolbank account.

"Normally in a new role you have to learn the people, the products and the company," said Mr Maxwell. "But I have been in constant contact with Toolbank all the time at Bahco, and it feels like I've never been away."

His new role carries responsibility for all Toolbank's major national accounts, and he is working alongside Dave Rogers until the end of July, when Mr Rogers moves to his new role. He will be based both at Toolbank's Dartford head office, and in the midlands.

"We have obviously known Paul for a long time and are extremely pleased that he has joined our team," said Toolbank CEO Wayne Flory. "To be able to recruit someone with Paul's knowledge and experience is a great benefit. Our national account customers are extremely important to our business and with Paul's appointment, together with an experienced national account sales team, we can be confident of a smooth transition ensuring that our customers receive the very best service."
