Paints and wood stains manufacturer JW Ostendorf has appointed George Adams as managing director of Renaulac France and Ostendorf UK, effective from February 1.
Mr Adams has extensive knowledge of the DIY industry across Europe, having been ceo of Maxeda DIY in the Netherlands and Belgium, and having also spent 16 years at Kingfisher. He was president of the European DIY Retailers Association for two years.

Mr Adams will be responsible for developing JW Ostendorf business with British and French accounts across Europe.
