Peter Grummitt, founder and managing director of tool distributor Tools of the Trade, is stepping down as md to become chairman with immediate effect.
Faith Guy who has worked for the company for five years, the past 18 months of which have been spent working alongside Mr Grummitt, will succeed him as md.

As chairman, Mr Grummitt will specifically be working with production to identify and develop new products.
