New marketing manager welcomed at Sandtoft

Richard Bishop has been appointed as new marketing manager at Sandtoft, the roofing brand at supplier Wienerberger.

Bringing to the role an extensive knowledge of construction, Mr Bishop will work towards improving Sandtoft's identity to open up new business opportunities.

Speaking about his new role, Mr Bishop said: "I have been fortunate enough to work for a variety of well respected brands over the years, and joining Wienerberger at this time provides me with a hugely exciting challenge. With the strong team which is currently in place, I'm looking forward to helping Wienerberger build on its current position within the market."

Annette Forster, director of marketing at Wienerberger, said: "Richard has extensive experience in the roofing sector in both sales and marketing, and we are looking forward to him bringing his expertise to Sandtoft to further grow the brand in 2014. We believe he will have a big impact on the strategic marketing approach and we are excited about the campaigns that will be delivered over the next 12 months."
