New FrogTape High Bond Exterior Painter’s Tape

Published: 12 February 2023 - Neil Mead

Shurtape has launched FrogTape High Bond Exterior Painter’s Tape to the UK market, to provide an exterior masking tape that can work with more modern, technically advanced, self-cleaning paint.

Created for use on a range of painted surfaces such as wood, metal, vinyl, aluminium, brick, stucco and concrete, the new product is a revolutionary painter’s tape engineered to consistently adhere to self-cleaning paint technology, which sheds dirt upon contact with water, thereby making adhesion difficult for masking tapes.

With very high adhesion and a crepe paper backing, the tape is ideal for smooth and rough surfaces and can hold poly paper in place for spray painting. It is easy to mask around exterior surfaces such as doorways and windows and can be removed cleanly without shredding or residue, even after three days.

Jason Burns, MD of Shurtape, comments: “We have some market-leading products in our portfolio, but as surfaces and paint products improve, our products need to evolve and adapt to work alongside them. Self-cleaning paint is increasingly popular for obvious reasons, so we are delighted to be introducing to our range a painter’s tape that has been specifically formulated to work alongside it, in time for the Spring surge in outdoor home improvements.”

FrogTape High Bond Exterior Painter’s Tape is available for stockists now.
