New 'bigger and better' store for Dunelm Mill

Published: 6 September 2007
Dunelm Mill is to open a 'bigger and better' store in Peterborough promising customers a larger range of goods for the home.
The homewares retailer is to move from its current site in Westgate, Peterborough, and move to a 27,500 sq ft superstore – the former premises of Courts – Boulevard Retail Park.

The refurbishment will create 68 new jobs in roles from managment to sales staff.

The new store will carry more than the 18,000 products in the current outlet and will open seven days a week, with longer opening hours.

Chief executive Will Adderley described the new store as 'exciting'.

In a separate move, Dunelm has opened a homewares superstore in Shoreham, West Sussex – with a difference.

The new store has an eco-friendly design with water-saving toilets and long-life light bulbs.
