More Sheds, Boxes and Beds Added to Keter’s Popular Darwin Range to Grow Retailer Offering

Published: 25 April 2022 - James Mead

Following its original highly successful launch, Keter has now unveiled a suite of additional new products in its Darwin portfolio to drive further sales for retailers.

A Darwin raised bed for planting, a 380L Darwin storage box and a 6x4 ft with double doors Darwin shed have been added to the range, which already includes the top sellers of the 6x4 ft and 8x6 ft Darwin sheds.

All made with Keter’s Evotech™ cutting-edge composite technology, this evolution in outdoor storage and gardening has grown in popularity due to its aesthetic appeal, easy assembly, and low maintenance.

Darwin products all look and feel like traditional wood but with the added benefits of resin, so they are virtually maintenance free. They do not rot, peel, or fade and just require an occasional hose down to keep their subtle shades looking like new season after season.

Another appealing attribute for consumers is the simplicity of assembly. There’s no need for any special skills or tools, a Darwin item can fit in most cars and the 6x4 ft shed can also go from flatpack to functional in under two hours – if not quicker.

The Darwin sheds, available in two different shades of earthy colours (brown and grey), have double wall panels for greater strength and rigidity and feature a window to let in natural light and ventilation ducts. Included as standard is a heavy-duty floor panel to stop garden pests or rainwater leaking in.

The Darwin box, which is also available in brown and grey, is ultra-strong, all weather resistant and UV protected, enabling consumers to refurbish their outdoor space with ease.

The unique strength of the design also means the top of the box can be used as an additional outdoor seating area for a maximum of two people.

For added security, the sheds and Darwin box are also lockable to keep outdoor items fully protected.

Kerry Murfin, VP European Marketing Director at Keter, comments: “Darwin has been a real success story for us, and we expect this to grow as we extend the product offering. Taking outdoor storage and planting to a new level, all the items complement any space no matter the size, and, as a family of products look great when positioned together in a garden or retail space. We’re expecting many more advocates to join the growing collection of satisfied Darwin consumers.”

With 100% recyclable resin parts, Darwin has been designed with sustainability in mind to help Keter to achieve ambitious targets set out in their annual sustainability report.
