Garden sector buyers can add a new name to their contact listings with the introduction of Monro Brands.
Monro Brands is the name for six well known garden suppliers: Growing Success with Briers, Deadfast Garden Chemicals, Wessex Speciality Growing Media and the British Play Sand company.

After evaluating the strengths of each business, the Monro Group will now operate from a head office in Zeals, Wiltshire, and manufacture, store and distribute product from a 100,000 sq ft warehouse in Barnsley.

Md Graeme Jennings spoke of his pride in his workforce, none of whom left the individual banners, and said customers will notice 'little or no change' - maybe, he added, 'a different face coming through the door' following re-organisation of the sales force.
