Klondyke Group buys 24th centre

Bob and Dorothy Gault, owners of the Klondyke Group of Garden Centres, including Strikes Garden Centres, have confirmed the acquisition of Brookside Garden Centre at Poynton, Cheshire.

Klondyke Chairman Bob Gault said "The acquisition of Brookside further consolidates our presence in Cheshire and we look forward to exploiting the full potential of the site over the coming months."

The acquisition was part funded by the Allied Irish Bank and follows the acquisition of Lady Green Garden Centre by the Klondyke Group in March 2008, increasing the total number of garden centres operated by Klondyke Group to 24.
