The landscaping centre covers 756sq ft and cost £25,000. Is one step in the company's plan to diversify its landscaping collections across the region by focusing on different suppliers in each of its outlets. At Newburn it's Stone Market that dominates the offer.

Newburn branch manager Malcolm Halton said: "The landscaping division is so diverse that it will appeal to every customer; from landscapers working on large scale landscaping projects to homeowners looking to make a few changes in their gardens.

"The landscaping division at JT Dove, Newburn is just one of the many exciting developments occurring across the company at present. In recent months, many custom built outlets have been opened across the region as part Dove's ambitious business plans to increase the presence of the company across the North East. Within these, we are now launching specialist divisions, all of which aim to offer the best specialist products and expert service in the region."
