Industry Awards 2008 now open for entries

The Industry Awards is now accepting entries for its 2008 competition from companies and individuals involved in the manufacture of diy, garden, and housewares products.

Entries are accepted in 15 product categories (see below), and will be judged by a panel of industry experts.

All entered products must have been released to the trade between January 1, 2007 and December 31, 2007.

With the deadline set for February 14, companies interested in competing in the 2008 awards are encouraged to visit www.diyweek.info/industryawards/how_to_enter.asp for a downloadable entry form.

Now in its 21st year, winning products will be announced on May 9, 2008, and honoured with Gold and Silver awards at a ceremony at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, London.

The Industry Awards is presented by three titles in the home improvement division of the publisher Faversham House Group: DIY Week, hgr (Hardware & Garden Review), and Housewares Magazine.

The Industry Award 2008 is sponsored by some of the home enhancement industry's biggest names – BDC, BHETA, Cuprinol, Decco, Dulux, GfK, DIY & Garden Show/Totally Tools, Hammerite, Home Hardware, Lakeland, Polycell, and Stax Trade Centres.
