HTA appointment

Published: 23 November 2010
The HTA Bedding Plant Group has appointed Charmay Ball as its chair.
HTA appointment
The group was set up in February to address the challenges facing bedding plant growers in a competitive market. Following the success of the Bedding Focus Conference, the group is keen to work on a number of business and promotional initiatives next year to promote bedding plants and help businesses in the sector.

Ms Ball, who is general manager at Lovania Nurseries, said: "The Bedding Focus Conference provided a great forum for highlighting both the issues and opportunities in the bedding sector. With the momentum gained through this event the HTA Bedding Plant Group is keen to look at further ways in which we can take a joint approach to raising awareness and promoting bedding and I look forward to driving these activities forward into 2011."
