Home Hardware Southwest pays rebate to members

Published: 26 April 2007
Loyalty and commitment rewarded, says chairman
Home Hardware Southwest Limited has paid back £80,000 to its members for the year to June 2006.

"We are delighted to further reward our members for their loyalty and commitment," said John Fewings, executive chairman of Home Hardware.

The business said its rebate program and dividend distribution, combined with retained profits being invested in additional warehousing and stock, has allowed it to grow.

"In March we increased our warehousing capacity by a further 15,000sq ft to accommodate an additional stockholding of £1 million and we anticipate that further storage will be required in 2008," said Mr Fewings.
