Gorilla Glue makes two new appointments

Published: 7 April 2015
Leading adhesives brand Gorilla Glue UK has expanded its team with the recruitment of two senior employees.
Gorilla Glue makes two new appointments
Sales and marketing professional Neil Duerden joins the company as national account controller, while Jennifer Gill has been appointed to the position of marketing manager. Both Mr Duerden and Ms Gill join Gorilla Glue during a period of rapid growth for the company and bring with them a wealth of experience.

Mr Duerden has previously worked for high-profile brands including Crown Paints and British Ceramic Tiles, from which he makes the move, and his responsibilities will include the management of large national accounts within the DIY, automotive, grocery and online sectors for Gorilla Glue, as well as new business development.

Miss Gill will be head of the marketing department and in charge of the full range of internal and external marketing activities.

Gorilla Glue European sales director Simon Damp said: "We're delighted to have both Neil and Jennifer join the Gorilla Glue team at what is a very exciting time for the company. The brand has seen numerous new products come to market over the past year with more to come, and Neil will be a key part in driving this as he develops new channels of distribution, as well as exploring further commercial opportunities.

"Jennifer will be responsible for the day to day running of the marketing team as well as upcoming marketing initiatives and again her experience will ensure Gorilla remains one of the leading brands within the UK's adhesives industry."
