Glee New Products Awards winners

A new tree for small gardens and a global tracking system for dogs were among the launches which were singled out for praise on the opening day of Glee yesterday.
They were among the prize winners selected by judges in the Glee New Product Awards. A team of judges from the pet, garden and leisure selected the winners from 312 entries.

Special awards were also handed out for Best Export Potential and a Green Award, judged from across all the entries.

The winners were:

Garden: Humax Horticulture, Humax Organic Fruit & Vegetable Bags;

Garden, John Woods Nurseries, Cercis canadensis Lavender Twist (Covey);

Garden (Machinery), Toro Wheelhorse/Lely (UK), Toro Multicycler - Auto Drive System;

Leisure, Suntime, Transcontinental Glider Single;

Leisure, The BarbeSkew Company, The Barbeskew;

Pet, Num'Axes, GPS Dog Tracking Positioning System;

Pet, Fetch Pet Toys, Retractable Ball Thrower;

Best Export Potential, Johnsons Seeds, World Kitchen;

Green Award, Kindergarden Plants, Kindergarden Starter Plants;

Green Award, Haxnicks, Ecogreen Giant Micromesh Growing Tunnel.
