The garden centre and DIY store supplier has recently appointed Dan Meadows as its new operations director.

Mr Meadows has worked in the logistics sector for many years, and is experience in running logistics operations for high-profile retailing and manufacturing businesses.

Mr Meadows said: "Working with Gardman presents a tremendous opportunity to make a difference to a growing business. Maintaining and building on our service standards is one of my key objectives and I will be focusing on driving an efficient and effective supply chain.

Gardman Group ceo Mark Pearson said: "I know that we will benefit hugely from Dan's retail fulfilment experience in the future. He will be a great asset to the business."
