The Garden Centre Group has announced the appointment of Rupert Gavin to the board of the company as a non-executive director.
Mr Gavin is the ceo of Odeon and UCI Cinemas, owned by Terra Firma. Prior to joining Odeon, he held senior positions at the BBC, BT and Dixons.

Chairman of The Garden Centre Group, Stephen Murphy, said: "I am extremely pleased to welcome Rupert to the board of The Garden Centre Group.
