Fleet Investment for Local Builders Merchant Thompson & Parkes

Published: 13 July 2021 - James Mead

A well-known and respected family-run builders’ merchants Thompson & Parkes have added to their fleet in response to growing business demand from across the area.

Supplying all manner of building and landscaping materials, this latest investment comes as the business continues to develop its local trade and retail offer from its Kidderminster, Stourport and Oreton branches.

Thompson & Parkes Company Director Jean Morris commented: “Thompson & Parkes has a reputation for reliability, delivering on time and in full, so to further enhance our service we have now added an additional 26-tonne MAN crane vehicle to our fleet.”

A local employer, established for more than 80-years, Thompson & Parkes carries a full range of building, plumbing and landscaping products and offer a Dulux paint mixing and colour match service from their Stourport shop, which is open 7 days a week supplying DIY, decorating and gardening tools and accessories.

Jean added: “Fitted with a full remote HMF crane and a reach of 8.3m means we can now access even the hardest to reach places for our customers.”
