DIY Week Awards product judging panel revealed

The judging panel for the product categories of the 2015 DIY Week Awards has been announced, boasting buyers from top UK retailers.

This year's judging panel for product categories comprises Homebase senior buyer Andrew Georgiou, QVC's DIY, security and home automation associate buyer David Murray, Home Hardware Southwest DIY buyer Paul Andrews, BHETA home improvement sector director Peter Stone, Wilko assistant buyer Emma Dines, Wilko business relationship manager, buying, John Cosford, and Squire's Garden Centres director of purchasing Darran Oakley.

The panel will convene in November to judge nine product categories: DIY Product of the Year, Decorating Product of the Year, Garden Accessory of the Year, Garden Fertiliser/Chemical of the Year, Garden Tool of the Year, Hand Tool of the Year, Home and Kitchen Product of the Year, Power Tool of the Year, Security Product of the Year.

A shortlist of Silver winners will be announced after judging has taken place, with the Gold winners in each category revealed at the black-tie awards event on Monday, February 16.
