Dewalt and Stanley send customers to MotoGP

Tool brands Dewalt and Stanley have sent two sports fans to the MotoGP finale in Valencia after they won competitions, including hitting nails with a hammer in the shortest time, and a quiz on endurance.
Stanley ran a 'big hit' competition at the Silverstone MotoGP race in June, celebrating the launched of the FatMax high velocity hammer. Brendan Gent, a joiner from Sunderland, won by hitting nails at various angles in the shortest time. He said: "It's always been an ambition of mine to go to the MotoGP in Valencia so to win the competition was a dream come true. It was my birthday on the Sunday we were there so this was the best birthday present I could have wished for!
He was joined by Leeds-based Lee Walton, who won Dewalt's 'Going the Distance' quiz on the Talksport Hawksbee and Jacobs show. The contest challenged listeners about sporting battles requiring stamina and endurance, linked with the launch of Dewalt's new 4Ah battery.
Mr Walton said: ""I just entered the quiz for fun so was delighted to hear that I had won the trip to Valencia. I took my wife along as we're both big MotoGP fans and enjoy watching it on TV but have never had the chance to go to a race in person.
"We had a fantastic weekend with the Dewalt team and enjoyed it so much that we hope to go back in future.
