Decco appoints new manager at Leeds branch

Published: 2 August 2018

The home improvement and garden wholesaler has taken on Martin Sutcliffe as manager for Decco Leeds, following Andrew Ballantine’s promotion to chief operating officer.  The appointment was effective from August 1.

Mr Sutcliffe joins Decco from sister company Edmundson Electrical, where he began his career in 2011 as a graduate trainee. Since then he has managed three different branches; the most recent being Edmundson Electrical Grimsby.

He said of his new appointment: “I’m delighted to be joining one of the most respected names in the garden and home improvement industry in these exciting times.  It’s a real opportunity to deliver great service and support to our retail customers, while offering our supplier partners the best route to the marketplace.”

Decco boasts seven locations around the UK totalling more than 350,000sq ft of warehousing space and holding over £10million worth of stock. The business supplies independent high street retailers and garden centres throughout the UK.
