MP Gillian Keegan officially opens the new Covers Home Ideas in Chichester
Timber & builders merchant Covers invited local Conservative MP Gillian Keegan to cut the ribbon, officially opening its new-look Home Ideas store in Chichester
Mrs Keegan was given a tour of the showroom on Quarry Lane by store manager Richard Murrell who explained how the store had undergone an extensive redevelopment programme to make it easier for customers to navigate. She was also shown the wide number of new products that had been added to the range.
She commented: “It’s important to celebrate successful local businesses. Companies like Covers are important for the economic development of the Chichester area and I was delighted to visit and officially open the refurbished showroom.”
Ahead of the official opening, Covers held a free celebration day on Friday, September 15 between 7.30am and 3pm, including a free hog roast and the chance for visitors to win vouchers to spend in the refurbished depot
Richard Murrell said of the new-look store: “We’re thrilled with how the refurbishment has turned out. It’s important that people in the local area have a customer-friendly place to speak with our expert team about any projects they are completing and find the relevant products they need.”
He added: “We’ve worked hard to become one of the leading businesses in the area. We’ve built a loyal customer base and encourage the local community to use us for their DIY needs. It was a pleasure to welcome Gillian Keegan MP to give her a tour and show how we’re heavily investing in Covers Home Ideas for the benefit of people in the area.”
