Essential reading for retailers and suppliers in the home improvement market

Countdown begins, as Totally gets set to open doors at new venue

Published: 8 February 2013
Dedicated DIY trade shows Totally DIY and Totally Tools will mark a new stage in their history as they prepare to open at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry for the first time this Sunday.
The shows, which kick off at 9.30am on Sunday, February 10 and run until Tuesday afternoon, will still have familiar features for visitors, such as the Best New Product Awards, sponsored once again by DIY Week, and a host of free seminars throughout the exhibition.

This year's awards feature a strong judging panel, including Mark Nixon, owner of Right Price DIY and Sarah Critchard of Axminster Tools - both winners in retail categories at the recent DIY Week Awards.

The New Product Awards will be presented on Sunday evening but all products entered into the competition will be on display in the New Products Zone throughout the show.

The new-look Totally also has an interesting line-up of speakers, who will give 20-minute presentations to visitors, offering their insight and take on the DIY market. The full seminar programme can now be viewed at http://www.totallydiy.co.uk/content/visiting/free-seminars/ and includes talks from GfK business group director Daniel Fearnley and European DIY Retail Association general secretary John Herbert.
