CKI announces new sales appointment
Mike Gillett assumes his new role immediately and will directly oversee a sales management team of three and indirectly manage a 17-strong field sales team, with overall responsibility for driving growth across 3,500 customer accounts.

Mr Gillett brings with him 35 years of experience in sales, having previously worked for Franke as head of sales, Acorn Engineering and Stearn Electric. During this time, he developed strong relationships with many major UK merchants, acquiring a wealth of sector knowledge and experience that he will now bring to the Carl Kammerling team.

Mr Gillett will report to managing director Tom Meyerratken and will play a crucial role in Carl Kammerling's expansion plans for 2015 and beyond, said the company.

Commenting on Mr Gillet's appointment, Mr Meyerratken said: "This is an exciting development for Carl Kammerling and Mike will be a great asset to the team as we develop our customer base and deliver on our longer term sales plans. His knowledge, experience and reputation within the industry, will strengthen our annual business planning and help drive the strategic direction of the company as a whole. He has an impressive track record of growing company sales and we are looking forward to working together as we expand the business."

Mr Gillett added: "I am delighted to be joining the company during an exciting period of growth and expansion and I look forward to sharing my experience with the team to help drive the company forward."
