Buyer found for New Forest Garden Plants

New Forest Garden Plants has been sold to Roundstone Nurseries after entering into administration last year.
Administrator Grant Thornton has accepted an offer made by Roundstone to buy the freehold, assets and stock of the business.
A new company named New Forest Plants Ltd was created on February 1 and will be a wholly owned subsidiary limited company "with full support and backing".
A Roundstone spokesperson said: "The high quality range of perennials, alpines and herbs grown by New Forest Garden Plants Ltd is a natural complement to Roundstone's extensive range of bedding plants and vegetables.
"Roundstone is delighted to have retained the services of Matthew Dixon, the previous general manager and director who will take up the role of nursery manager responsible for the general management of the site."
New Forest Garden Plants, based in Hampshire,
entered into administration on November 17, with the loss of 40 employees.
