Published: 18 May 2017 - Fiona Garcia

Actavo Hire & Sales Solutions has appointed Nicky Emery as manager of its branch in the Great Barr area of Birmingham.

As Birmingham branch manager, Ms Emery will be responsible for leading the Actavo team and positioning the branch as a leading supplier in the area, befitting the size and scope of the market in the region.

Describing her new role within the business, she said: “We have an excellent team, each member of which is highly focused on the long-term success of the branch and on delivering the highest level of service. We’ve got great products and a strong team of people, so everything is in place to really grow the business and support our customers effectively and efficiently. Our fundamental aim is to ensure we offer outstanding customer service – building strong relationships and being recognised as a valuable partner.”

Actavo operates a 35-branch network of hire and sales locations across the UK and Ireland. Its Birmingham hire & sales branch is over 13,760sq ft and offers a demonstration area, yard storage and a bespoke training facility, with products such as alloy towers, fencing, and barriers all on display. Carrying a large inventory of scaffolding, light access, shoring equipment, temporary fencing and traffic management, the branch is able to supply a large range of products for hire or sale, and suitable for construction projects of all sizes.

Actavo structural division CEO Roger Hastie said: “Nicky’s role is to lead the team in developing the full potential of the Birmingham branch. Through her experience, she has the skills and the drive to motivate the team and achieve great things in one of our largest branches.”
