Abus racked up an extra third in UK sales during 2010, in cooperation with wholesale partners Toolbank and Hoppe.
New products include the T65 'My Lock' range, combining aluminium and brass to offer a lightweight, strong option which is available in six different-coloured jackets.
Also new is the 70AL aluminium weather-proof collection, which is lighter in weight and less expensive than a brass version, but just as robust, says Abus.
