Bona strengthens retail team

Liam Walsh has joined Bona Limited as Retail Key Accounts Manager for the UK and Ireland. Liam will report to Jason Williams, who is the Swedish parent company's EMEA and APAC Retail Manager.

Liam joined Bona from a Sales Manager role with Tom Chambers Ltd, the market leading garden industry manufacturer. Prior to this he had already amassed 16 years of account management experience in the DIY, garden and housewares sectors.

The appointment was made to drive the ongoing development and growth of Bona floor care products in UK and Ireland.  This follows Bona's excellent track record of increasing category sales for its retail partners.  The award winning Bona floor cleaners, polishes and spray mops have been a great success for DIY retailers, including the top two global DIY retailers, Home Depot and Lowe's.

Liam said, "Bona is renowned as a world leader and expert in wood floor care.  Our products are used on some of the most prestigious floors in the world and I'm delighted to have joined the team to further develop the retail division in the UK and Ireland.  I have been following the growth of the Bona business since I was introduced to Jason Williams at the Global DIY Summit a few years ago - an event at which Bona will again be a sponsor this year in Barcelona."
