New European appointments for coatings company

Claire Cullen joins The Valspar Corporation as the new European brand manager and Fiona Wood has been appointed to the company as the new European product manager.

Both women will be responsible for promoting and developing the company's leading spray paint brand PlastiKote across Europe.

Ms Cullen brings more than 10 years experience in strategic global marketing and international business to the role and Ms Wood has blue chip experience in technical product management for computing and digital markets.

Valspar European director of marketing Jane Ryder said of the announcement: "Claire's appointment comes at an exciting time in the PlastiKote business as we move into new distribution channels and strengthen existing channels with a series of new brand initiatives. Her experience in brand development and online opportunities will have a significant impact on the business.

"Fiona brings with her a wealth of experience in the fundamentals of managing a broad and technical product portfolio in a complex and competitive environment."

Throughout the coming months PlastiKote will be rolling out a series of new key business initiatives.
