DC Fix and Stax sign exclusive distribution deal

Published: 26 March 2019 - Kiran Grewal

Stax Trade Centres have signed an exclusive distribution deal with existing supplier partner, d-c-fix. Continuing a 15-year partnership, the deal sees Stax awarded official distribution rights over the 60 lines of self-adhesive veneers and film coverings stocked at the nationwide wholesaler. The company has said the deal seeks to support d-c-fix customers by providing them with wider access to the range, and a low minimum order quantity.

As part of the deal, Stax announced that their wholesale pricing will match the product prices previously offered to customers shopping directly with d-c-fix®. Independent retailers can retain their delivered service by ordering their d-c-fix® products, combined with anything else from the 1,000 brands available at Stax, to reach the £300 minimum order value. Retailers needing immediate access to stock are invited to purchase d-c-fix® products through the nationwide cash and carry branches.

“We are delighted to have secured a deal with d-c-fix that will allow independent retailer customers to continue purchasing these products at this attractive low minimum order quantity,” says Stax purchasing director, Simon Wright. “They can also make up the balance with any of the 40,000 other lines which we provide, such as homeware, tools, decorating, electrical or plumbing.

“Stax is dedicated to supporting the UK’s independent retail businesses, and this exclusive deal is another practical example of the benefits which our approach brings to them,” adds Simon. “We’re delighted that this allows us to offer customers a really wide range of premium quality, self-adhesive films that will let them benefit even more from the opportunities in the home improvement market."
