Your chance to be part of the Pavestone Rally 2019

Added: 11 February 2019 - Fiona Garcia

Nearly 30 teams have already signed up to take part in the whacky race but there is still time to throw your name in the hat for this year’s event and be part of a fantastic four-day adventure across Europe – all for a very good cause.

The video shows just a taste of what’s in store with this year’s event, which sees teams ideally buy a car for under £500 (the cheaper the better!) and drive in fancy dress on a madcap adventure across Europe, completing challenges along the way. Alternatively, there is the option to travel in style and enter with a supercar.

Participants will travel from Reims, France on September 5, to Stuttgart, Germany, on to Salzburg in Austria, then Venice, Italy, finishing up in Italy’s Lake Como on September 9.

All competing teams will be raising money for three well-deserving charities: Rainy Day Trust, the only charity dedicated to supporting home improvement workers and their families in times of need; the Teenage Cancer Trust, which provides care and support for cancer patients aged 13-24 and their families; and Variety, which supports children and young people throughout the UK who are sick, disabled or disadvantaged.

The deadline for entry to join this year’s rally is Thursday, February 28.
