Weldit appoints new managing director

Published: 26 May 2015
Luton-based Weldit, the sheet metal product manufacturer specialising in kick plates, finger plates, vents and bespoke design to the trade, has named Raj Ramoutar as its new managing director.
He commented: "I am extremely pleased to be joining Weldit at this very exciting time, and following the significant investment in a purpose-built head office and manufacturing facility over the last 12 months, Weldit has increased its production capacity and capability and is now perfectly poised to build on this strong foundation."

"With my industry knowledge and background in sales and service along with product and operations with companies such as Ironmongery Direct, Fortnum & Mason, Cath Kidston and Littlewoods I am excited by the possibility that we can move forward and offer our customers a better service and products."
