Two new faces for revamped garden centre

Published: 27 November 2008
Dorset based garden centre John Browns has appointed two new managers as it more than doubles its restaurant capacity and revamps the kitchen.
Two new faces for revamped garden centre
Debbie Edwards and Paul Haynes join John Browns, the latest acquisition by the Golden Acres Group, as it boosts the restaurant from 100 covers indoors and outdoors to 240.

The previously very small kitchen has been rebuilt to four times the size to cope with the extra customers and keep up the centre's high quality food.

Debbie, the new catering manager, said: "What a great time to join the company - the refurbishment is a big challenge but rewarding and I have a lot of passion to take it forward."

Paul Haynes, assistant centre manager responsible for dry goods, said: "I popped in one day to buy a sausage roll, liked what I saw and ended up applying for the job! I'm keen to build on the centre's success - it's recently had a major refurbishment and there's lots of potential for further growth."
