Toolstation roll-out continues apace

Published: 28 May 2019 - Fiona Garcia

The Travis Perkins-owned chain is ploughing ahead with its expansion programme, opening four new trade counters in a week next month.

On June 10, Toolstation will open a trade counter on Buxton Road in Hazel Grove, less than five miles from its Stockport branch. On the same day it will also open an outlet on a business park in St Austell, plugging the gap between its Liskeard and Truro branches.

Then, on June 17, Toolstation will open sites on Regents Park Road in Finchley – one of a number located in Greater London - and Coedcae Lane Industrial Estate in Pontyclun.

The business has also revealed plans for trade counters in Bromsgrove, Fanborough, Hexham, Leeds Seacroft, Leighton Buzzard, Morecambe, Ludlow, Putney, and Wythenshawe.

The new openings will take Toolstation’s estate to 364 outlets across the UK.

Toolstation delivered strong results in Q1, reporting 25% total growth for the quarter, amid network expansion and as existing stores mature.
