Tarmac boosts sustainability team
Reporting to the company's director of sustainability Dr Martyn Kenny, Mr Swain will help drive Tarmac's sustainability programme across the UK business, and support the development of new environmental tools for customers.

He joins Tarmac from the Environment Agency, where he was an industry regulation specialist, and previously worked for Aggregate Industries as head of environment and quality.

Dr Kenney said: "With his wealth of experience in both environmental policy and the quarrying and construction sectors, Andy is well placed to help us to continue the evolution of our business's sustainable development. As well as helping to further embed our sustainability framework across Tarmac, he will play a crucial role in driving forward our targets and developing new sustainability tools to deliver more commercial benefits for our customers."
