Steamer Trading opens in Marlow, now looks north

Published: 15 October 2008
Cookshop retail chain Steamer Trading opened its latest store last week, and confirmed plans to grow the business to 30 outlets within the next three years.
The eighteenth store occupies 3,000sq ft, Grade II listed premises in Marlow, Buckinghamshire.

Steamer Trading's expansion has so far been confined to the south east, but the company says it is now setting its sights on going north.

In the year to December 31 2007 the retailer achieved pre-tax profits of £2.7m on a turnover of £9.3m.
