Smart Solar expands sales force

Smart Solar has appointed five new agents for the 2011 season, bringing the total number to 12.
The new agents are Gordon and Caroline Vass, who will cover Scotland and part of the North East, Richard Foster covering the rest of the North East, East and West Yorkshire and north Lincolnshire, Jayne Morgen who covers Leicestershire and south Lincolnshire and Lo Klinkenberg, the new distributor in Southern Ireland.
Smart Solar sales direct Paul Knott said: "Despite the economic climate, 2010 was a good year for Smart Solar and the reaction to our new 2011 ranges at Glee was outstanding, so we are confident that the new agents will deliver increased sales.
"Garden centres play a key role in our expansion plans and it is important that they are well looked after by our team. With our new products, packaging and merchandising units, the agents are enthusiastic about the opportunities for next year."
