In this newly created role, Mr Hogan will be responsible for developing sales of the company's established own label products alongside ASF, a fire protection product, and the recently launched, award winning IPT sealant range.

Polyseam's sales and business development manager Neil Smith said: "This is an exciting time at Polyseam as we build on proven expertise and start to develop new products to take advantage of the opportunities that undoubtedly exist in the UK market. With the majority of our products being developed and manufactured in the UK we are able to offer extensive technical support and guidance to our customers on the best use of these products."

Mr Hogan added: "Polyseam is one of those rare companies; a successful UK manufacturer. The product range is constantly evolving and the latest addition, IPT, will help builders overcome many of the problems that can be incurred from using the incorrect sealant."

Mr Hogan's experience in the adhesives and sealants industry spans more than 20 years, the last six of which he spend with leading producer Kommerling UK.

In addition to supporting specifiers and main contractors, Mr Hogan will also be developing sales into the larger builders merchants and electrical wholesalers and is keen to hear from companies that may be interested in stocking the range.
