Phil Tushingham has joined Smart Solar as sales director, with overall responsibility for the company's revenues in the UK and Europe.
Mr Tushingham has over 25 years' experience in the DIY, grocery and garden centre sectors, and has spent the last 12 years at Gardman. His expertise covers both business and product development within the garden products industry at home and abroad.
Commenting on his new role, he said: "I'm really looking forward to taking Smart Solar to the next level, building on what is already a well-established business stream. The team have some very exciting plans for rapid expansion and I'm delighted to be on board to help them accomplish that."
