Peter Burks has a new role within Blue Diamond Group, having taken up the position of manager at its Fermoy's Garden Centre in Newton Abbot, Devon.
Last January Mr Burks joined Trelawney Garden Leisure as general manager, in charge of its West Country garden centres at Wadebridge and Barnstaple. Then in October, Blue Diamond bought the Wadebridge centre and the garden centre at Probus, which is still being built. Blue Diamond bought Fermoy's in 2013.
Mr Burks, a former Garden Centre Association chairman, said: "I'm really looking forward to seeing some of my friends and former customers, and welcoming them to Fermoy's.
"This is a wonderful opportunity for me and I'm looking forward to working with the team at Fermoy's and continuing to do the job I love."
