Wall, roof and landscaping specialist Wienerberger UK has appointed Richard Randall as its new operations director.
He will be responsible for all production in the UK, including engineering, quality, environmental and health and safety matters, and will sit on the Wienerberger UK holding board.

Mr Randall brings a wealth of experience to the role, having come from an international manufacturing business where he was responsible for UK operations, and, latterly, the implementation of lean manufacturing technologies and systems across Europe.

He also has previous experience in product development and supply chain management processes.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Randall said: "With such a large and varied portfolio of products, Wienerberger is almost uniquely placed to offer the best possible building solutions to customers, so I'm looking forward to pushing development in that area."
