Tom McElkerney has been appointed brand managing director of Plumbase.
New MD at Plumbase as Gerald Thrower retires
He will assume the role on 1 October 2008, taking over from the current chief executive, Gerald Thrower, who is retiring after 48 years in the merchanting industry.
